Control systems
Discovering new ways
Reliable control systems
Our control systems ensure reliable data processing and preprogrammed action execution, especially on the railways. Major names in railway engineering such as Bombardier, Stadler, Siemens and Alstom have come to rely on our control systems.
We work with our engineers on developing comprehensive control systems for toilet cubicles and interior doors and a variety of actions and processes while naturally satisfying the standards applicable in railways. We keep in constant dialogue with customers on further development and optimisation of the solutions we have already developed.
Toilet cubicle control
We develop control systems to regulate selected control units as well as whole sanitary units in railway carriages and process the data generated. A variety of inputs and outputs makes it possible to receive sensor signals towards controlling the utilities involved.
We use expansion cards and a 100 Mbit ethernet connection to transfer data to the superordinated vehicle control station, registering fill levels in toilet cubicles before the vehicle even arrives at the depot; this allows shunting operations to be planned as needed while keeping costs down with shortened maintenance cycles.
Nasszellensteuerung
Our toilet control systems provide the following functions
· Fresh and waste water tank control
· Purge valve control
· Monitoring and displaying fill levels
· Keys and limit switch monitoring with a fault message display
· Status indicator
· Recording and storing fault data with date and time stamps
Interior door control Systems
Designed for railway applications, the interior door controllers we have developed control how interior doors in carriages open and close. Unlike other interior door controllers, the controllers we produce monitor electrical current in motors compared to distance travelled rather than obstacle sensors to protect people and things from getting caught in an automatically closing door – our solution has proved to be more reliable and far more cost-effective than sensors.
Our door controller systems provide the following functions
· Detecting obstacles by motor current monitoring
· Transferring data to the vehicle
