Bespoke true-colour overlays

The design and colour of the overlay play a major role in the visual appearance and ergonomics of control units and keyboards. We produce every overlay design using screen printing at Luckenwalde, delivering a final product with an individual and aesthetically pleasing result. This entails implementing your design specifications while ensuring compliance with your CI guidelines, including product design. Whether RAL, HKS or Pantone colours, our software-based colour-mixing management can create any shade and nuance you require before checking the hue on a spectrophotometer.

We use polyester sheet in a variety of thicknesses depending on the base material, yielding a variety of scratch, impact and weather-resistant overlays. Applying the printed design to the rear of the overlays ensures resistance to aggressive chemicals. Vanishing effects as well as transparent and translucent areas are also supported, as are structure and front printing.

We cut out the printed overlays on the laser plotter depending on the contour to match control panels and shape the overlay using an in-house embossing technique that makes it possible to raise keys, making control easier for operators. We apply technological processes that ensure zero offset between the overlay and front Panel.
